Chapter Three

3100 B.C.

Enoch, seventh in generation from Adam, stood on the plateau as Tomb had once done. He surveyed the three pyramids with his son, Methuselah. The secrets of the universe filled his head. God told him the world was not ready to know yet.

Enoch, who was a master craftsman, constructed the pyramids with his son Methuselah helping him. There was a passageway that also led to the room deep underground filled with the written history, art and artifacts of the civilization Lucifer ruled before the creation of man. The remains of the one called Tomb were still there perfectly preserved.

There were no outside entrances into it. Only when man was ready would he be able to enter…a different way.

“I will show you how to enter the Hall of Records, son. Your brothers cannot know. They will eventually be lured by the world before the deluge. Remember I told you God instructed me to call you Methuselah, which means when he is dead the deluge will come?”

“I remember. I know you will be leaving to be with God our Creator soon. My heart already feels the pain of your absence. We have been together three hundred years and the bond has grown deeper with each passing year. Who will I talk to about such important things as we have discussed?”

“Now it will be you who must teach others. Tell everyone who will listen and make copies of the 366 books I have written. You will someday put the originals in the Hall of Records. Only you will know exactly where. You must instruct Lamech to tell his son Noah to take some of the books with him that they may survive the deluge, but only certain ones. I will show you.”

          “Who is Noah?”

“He will be born during your lifetime, my son. He will take Adams body with him. It has been preserved in a certain way and will include gold, frankincense and myrrh to be with the body as well.

Right now I will show you the location of the Hall of Records.”

Enoch walked the short distance to the Great pyramid and stopped three hundred feet before he reached it and waited until the still youthful at over 200 Methuselah was standing next to him. Enoch himself looked no older. Their lean and muscular bodies were made to last. There were no homely people in Enoch’s time. Skin and hair of every color and type were in abundance everywhere.

“Why are we stopped here? Don’t we need to go into the entrance?”

“Patience. We enter from here.” Enoch held his son’s arm, stamped his feet slightly and pulled him into a doorway only Enoch knew of. There was a brief shimmer like a heat wave then they were in the passageway leading down to their destination.

The walls glowed with a soft light. It looked like the same kind of light some insects and sea animals have. Enoch waved his hand indicating the polished and colorful walls. “This light will last forever. Do you see all the pictures and writings?  Some are from the civilization here before us and some will be ours. I have written on some of them as well with the special writing tools God gave me so I could write faster. He also gave me a special writing instrument to finish 366 books before I go with him. You must remember exactly where to stand to enter. Centuries from now before the flood you will put the books just here. Copy them for others of our time until then.”

He entered a room highly polished and full of dazzling colors and art. Statues of gold shone in the light. The light glanced off the gems that encrusted them. The whole room dazzled the eye and Methuselah stood stunned as he took it all in.

“Come, come. This way.”   Enoch led him to a statue with the body of a man and head of a bird made of pure gold and painted in bright colors. The pedestal was a brilliant blue. Enoch touched a spot on the pedestal. “Did you see where I touched it?”

Methuselah leaned closer to press the place into his memory. “I see, father. I will remember.

“How will I know when to bring the books here?”

“When the dark angels and their offspring become so entangled with our kind you can’t tell one from the other and the violence and perverse sins I told you about and are written of in my books are everywhere you must bring them here. You must have time to make many copies first. Teach your brothers and sisters what is in them and have them help you make copies as well. There will be a witness of God in the Earth always. Men need rules to live by or they become dull and purposeless. Do you understand, my son?”

“I understand, my father.” Methuselah paused as he studied his father’s face as if to burn the memory of it into his mind.

“When we go back show me again the place I must stand to gain entrance. I must burn it into my memory.”

“The books will go into the space in the pedestal. Do you see? They will just fit. Now I will show you again where to stand to gain entrance as you asked. It is very important that you remember.”

XXX

The day of his departure was at hand. Enoch gathered his family around him. He not only had many sons and daughters but grandchildren and great, great grandchildren as well. The spacious and beautiful house was made of huge white marble blocks as big as those in the pyramids. Enoch and Methuselah built it by themselves and now the huge building was filled to capacity. The long polished wooden tables were filled with food and drink for everyone.

The house had second and third stories. Large rooms were just behind with a walkway in front of the balconies and their ornate railings. There was space enough for everyone in the house. Balconies of white marble decorated with scarlet, gold and blue pictures of flowers and fruit framed the great hall where the tables of food and people were. Long cushioned benches were against the walls and went all the way around the rectangular room. Climbing vines and flowers of all colors hung from the balconies. On either side of the room large staircases carpeted in scarlet led to the main floor.

In the very center of the room there was a fountain surrounded with vines and flowers. Some of the smaller children were laughing and playing in it. The impression was one of joyfulness as well as opulence. God had blessed His people.

Enoch raised his hand until everyone saw him and grew silent, even the children.

Enoch told them what God had shown him and told him to write. He told them the wonders of the ten heavens or dimensions and of God’s plan to flood the earth again in another thousand years. The Sphinx and pyramids would survive, but not the technology that made their construction possible. Those from civilizations in other parts of the universe would be forbidden to visit Earth. It would become a spectacle to all, a school for those who will one day be allowed to rule the universe with the One who created it. He showed them the calendar of years, months, days and hours to measure time. He told them he had written a pictogram of it on the ceiling of the pyramids so people would be able to keep track of time until time was no more.

The moment for his departure arrived. His family crowded around him, embracing him and saying their goodbyes. Many had tears in their eyes. He had been a loving husband, father and grandfather. His presence would be greatly missed.

He broke away from them and went through the archway into the garden. They all watched as he walked into the forming light where he slowly faded and disappeared. He did not die, but went bodily to be with God in Heaven until the time of his return during the last three and a half years of the tribulation that would mark the end of the next age prior to the time the Son of God would rule on the Earth.
