12. RECEIVING OUR INHERITANCE FOR THE LOST
Now by the covenant blood of Jesus and in the name of Jesus, in obedience to Your Word in Matt 9:37-38, we pray for laborers to be sent into the harvest of souls and finances. We also stand upon your word that the meek inherit the earth. (Ps 37:9-11; Matt 5:5). Heb. 1:2, says that in these last days You are speaking to us by Your Son Jesus Whom You have appointed heir of all things. Gal 3:29 We are heirs. (Rom 4:13) It is clear, then, that God's promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and His descendants was not based on obedience to God's law, but on the new relationship with God that comes by faith. So by faith (Is. 54:3) it is ours, Lord. We do break forth on the right hand and on the left; and as God's seed we take our inheritance of the gentiles and make the desolate cities to be inhabited by the power of God. We obey Ps 2:8 where You said to only ask, and You would give us the heathen as our inheritance, the ends of the earth as our possession. We ask, Father, "give us the heathen." Father, in Is. 6:8, You asked whom shall You send and who will go for You?" So, I say for me and in the place of my Partners and readers, here we are, Lord, send us. We'll go wherever you would send us, Lord. In Jesus' Name. Amen. |
